Now accepting accplications for fall groups 〰️

Group Therapy

These groups are in the works and meet virtually, similar to individual therapy. Group therapy is much more affordable than individual therapy, and group therapy is just as effective as individual therapy. These groups are being made to provide safe spaces for persons of color, trans or queer folks. If you are interested, please review the links below and then submit a contact form. Thank you!

Teen group psychotherapy

FIRE:

Adolescent LGBTQIA+

This group is for teens who are LGBTQIA+ or questionning and who are looking for support and a place to talk about all things queer or queer adjacent - like how/when it’s safe to come out, how to date or find a partner, consent process, queer terminology, and where to find support or resources. Identity development is much more difficult for us queer folks, and this group is designed to give you a space to explore who you are and what you are dealing with.

This group is not a space for persons with difficulty communicating or who have severe mental health concerns, such as persons with active suicidality, multiple personalities, severe untreated trauma, or persons who are aggressive towards others.

Group for young adult artists

CREATE: Artistic expression group

This group is for young adults who are LGBTQIA+ and who are looking to develop identity through artistic expression. Each week, you would bring a piece of art to the group, discuss how it impacted you, and explore your reflections on your view of life, society, and yourself. You can create this art or find a piece you wish to talk about. This group is for people who are trying to sort out their place in life, develop self-esteem, and have a better sense of who they are.

Groups are not the right choice for everyone, so please review the group rules and expectations. The links are at the top of this page.

A meeting with the therapist is required before beginning any group. The cost is 20$ for the 20 minute assessment.
